Welcome to Anapsys Counselling and Training Services

Certainly, you do not have to be crazy to go to counselling or undergo therapy. There are many reasons for seeking help and although it is normally difficult to make the decision to see a counsellor, this can be a mature decision that can improve enormously your quality of life.

Anapsys Counselling Services is a private practice located in Belfast managed by Sylvia Buet and John Dunlop. Sylvia is a Psychologist and an  accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). John and Sylvia are qualified Level II EMDR practitioners and accredited Hypnotherapists.

Anapsys Counselling Services offers Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT) for a wide range of problems such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, relationship breakups, low confidence, social anxiety, anger and guilt problems, etc.

If you require help with smoking cessation, control your weight, simple phobias such as fear of flying, etc., hypnosis may be just what you need. Most times, you only require one session to achieve your goal. If the problem is more complex and not suitable for hypnosis, you will be offered CBT.

Train to become a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist
